So yeah... I really don't have an excuse for my long time away aside from a massive case of writer's block.  Life got busy, too many hobbies, not enough time, yadda yadda yadda... Truth be told, I lacked the desire and inspiration to write much of anything.  Of late, I've begun converting my coworkers to try Shadowrun during our lunch breaks and I now have a very committed group of junkies, craving the next adventure.  It's always an interesting experiment to turn new players loose on character creation and the characters that have arisen from this little social experiment are quite cool.  I had an idea for a story and I figure I'd use that

Well, I'm still around, despite all appearances to the contrary.  My problem has been multi-folded (if that's a term), but the gist of it is: I've had a lot of demands on my time, I've been plagued by health issues (coupled with insomnia) and I've had some issues with time allocation.  I've been working on three or four writing project simultaneously, which is rarely a good plan for seeing any one of them completed. So, new material is coming, both my own stuff and some fan fiction.  But bear with me, while I figure my life out. J.

OK, so I'm new to this whole deviantArt thing, but there's a lot of really cool artwork here.  If only I was so gifted visually... But, I'm not.  I'm a wordsmith.  I've been writing for years.  A lot of it fan fiction, but I have done some original work as well.  Even have a novel on Amazon, if anyone cares to donate to the cause (called History Rising). My main love is Shadowrun.  I've been a GM for years, spanning three rule editions.  I'm talking the pen and paper version, not the laughable attempt on the 360.  I love the setting and the interesting characters that people create within in.  I love writing up back stories and scribing gam
